Our Journey

2020

The First Verse

Harf began as a small blog in a university dorm room. Founded by a group of literature students frustrated by the lack of digital spaces for poetry, the initial platform allowed just 100 users to share their daily haikus.

2021

Breaking Borders

We introduced multi-language support, leading to an explosion of Urdu ghazals and French sonnets on the platform. User base grew to 10,000 active writers.

2022

Monetization for All

Recognizing that artists need to eat, we launched the 'Scribe & Bard' subscription models, allowing writers to earn directly from their readership for the first time.

Now

A Global Literary Home

Today, Harf is the world's fastest-growing literary social network. We are building AI tools to help with translation and copyright protection, ensuring literature remains timeless yet modern.

Writer working

"I went from writing in secret journals to publishing my first anthology within a year."

Before Harf, I didn't think anyone would understand my style of prose poetry. The feedback circles here helped me refine my voice, and the community support gave me the courage to self-publish.
